Kelowna's Street Fashion

Here in the Okanagan, we have some great street fashion. I find it to be a mixture of sophisticated, edgy, classic, vintage, indie/bohemian, preppy and more. For me, someone who loves fashion, loves to try out new things, and loves to be their own person. I am always excited to see what other people put together.

I was doing some research and found that Awesome Okanagan has a street fashion blog. Consisting of a picture, of someone, who the blogger finds interesting or likes their fashion sense. It also tells you where they bought their clothes, and accessories. Because this is a blog, you might only see fashion the blogger enjoys. It might not show the brood spectrum of Okanagan fashion.

In our CATO fashion show, we will be incorporating local fashion, by using local boutiques. We want this fashion show to be fun and exciting, but something that also stands out and will be memorable. By bringing in these boutiques, we hope to bring a sense of community. Showing off what the Okanagan has to offer for fashion.

The Centre for Arts and Technology Fashion Show

The Centre for Arts and Technology - Kelowna is putting on a Fashion show for our Fashion, and Event and Promotions Management students. They will be working together to create a show for our Okanagan community. We will also be working with local boutiques, to allow them to have their items to be seen in a fashion show setting.




We will hold the fashion show on September 22, 2012 at the Community Theatre. The planning for this fashion show is still in progress, and we will be keeping you up to date on any further information on this blog. We will she who is involved and where we are with the project.

We hope to make this an annual event, and we are excited to see the community come out to support their local up and coming fashion designers as well as local boutiques.
